Question about settings for viewing threads
 

Hello,

When I view a thread, it always shows the first post. I see there's a button to push so that I jump to the first unread post. That's helpful, but is there a setting that I can use so that when opening a thread it automatically sends me to the first unread post?

Hi Andy, there's no easy way to do this as it's cookie related, your session cookies are deleted when you log out (or time out) unfortunately.

can you still see the unread posts arrow after you logout and return?
It disappears for me.

It looks like there isn't a setting for it to do what I want automatically. No worries, I'll just take that one extra step and hit 'view first unread'.

When I log out and back in again, it assumes that I have read all the posts in the forum, as nothing pops up under 'view new posts'.
