Looking to identify some JR Gaunt car badges of my dads

Hi guys! Just scouting the internet to see if I can get some information on some JR Gaunt car badges my dad has and this place seems to have a lot of knowledgable people! If I get some pics posted up will people be able to identify the insignias and possibly provide a little information on them?

Many thanks

Tim

1, Argyll and Sutherland highlanders

2. Royal navy

3. Black Watch.

4. London Scottish?

5. Grenadier Guards.

No.4 is more likely to be a Merchant Navy vessel with that Crown

No.4 - Auctioneer description :"a J R Gaunt Scotland Thistle chrome car badge"

So , may have nothing to do with military.

Thistle

As discussed Naval or civilian, London Scottish would have had Hodden Grey as a backing not Red

No.4 is Scottish Fire Service. Possibly the Scottish Fire Service College. Not a MN crown.
