Can anyone throw light upon this RAFVR officer?
Apparently the jeweller/engraver got the rank wrong

Can't see any rank on the disc. The only mistake is the apostrophe in the wrong place for the standard designation OFFR standing for "Officer". O'FFR instead of OFF'R.
