The Francolin Partridge of VIII Corps

3 Attachment(s)
I am preparing a short article for the Military Heraldry Society's Formation Sign which looks at the sign originally authorised for VIII Corps in its original anti-invasion role which was later adopted by South Western District.

It is said that those serving at District HQ added a red breast to the badge and other red additions have been recorded. If anyone has any other versions than those shown that they would be willing to post for use in the article please add them here or PM me.

Really no more variations lurking out there somewhere?

I know a printed example with an overstiched red breast, does that count as a variation?

A printed example produced and worn by an ATS girl, unable to find her name right now.

Marc,

A nice example thanks. Not seen one with white tail markings before.

Luc,

There are numerous variations of the red embroidery as they were unofficially added. Would be interested in seeing your example.
