Helmet Plate RCA
 

Can I have your opinions on this helmet plate if it is a reproduction. It has screw type fasteners which is unusual. It also has a two piece non spinning wheel.

Hi Mike, the plate is actually a sabretache badge as the screw posts denote. The non-spinning mounted wheel is normal for many such RA, RCA, etc, officer's plates, for helmets and accoutrements.

I can't comment on the status of the plate but it appears from the photographs to be original. Canadian collectors would know better than me.
