Very nice Mick. I would certainly look forward to seeing more Australian submarine related badges if you have any. There is a chap on the internet with some very rare comrades badges that are dated, sadly despite the fact he is a dealer they are not for sale.

Here is a picture of an Old Comrades Association badge.

Beautiful example Mick, Ive always wanted one of those.
Also do you have all the different designs of the RAN submariners qualification badge? There is a smaller badge to the one you have there and also an example in cloth, not forgeting the earlier examples. Its interesting to note that the War Memorials collection of sub badges is very thin on the ground. |
The only other version of the submariner's current issue badge I have seen is the smaller mess dress version.
Here's a picture of both badges. http://i305.photobucket.com/albums/n...submarines.jpg Mick |
Are those in white metal, if so what period? Thanks.

Gilt and enamel - current issue.

The reason why I ask is because the crown design looks slightly different? Are either badges manufacturer marked? Perhaps different manufacturers?
|
I'd say that its probably just different manufacturers.

Anymore to post Mick? Do you have the Old Comrades blazer badge?
|
No mate - that's all I have.
