Good morning,

I thought I should share this badge with you all because I haven't seen this repro before.

That’s because it’s an original.

It doesn’t pay to trust eBay sellers descriptions, that works both ways.

It's identical to one my grandfather collected in the 40's. the same excess metal around the head and all the same details. If it's repro then it's a true restrike from the original die.

It’s genuine as is this Paras they sold.

The previous owner in their ignorance appear to have written repo on the cardboard backing and the seller must’ve taken this at face value and assumed it correct… happily for me they were not.

Thanks all.

Two lucky and equally pleasing acquisitions.

Probably all levels out in the end as I paid more today than any sane person should for a beautiful Lambourne monstrosity of a Royal Scots, swings and roundabouts.

Aha, so it was you.
"Beautiful's" a bit much, it was a bit ragga looking.

Yes it was me. Sorry if I outbid you. As a Lambourne aficionado these things can be few and far between and there’s a lot to collect… https://www.britishbadgeforum.com/fo...ad.php?t=78231
