Mareeba Military Muster pick ups
 

Hello All

I travelled from Cairns up to the Mareeba Military Muster today and was very impressed at how this gathering continues to grow each year.

Had a couple of pick ups including a Gippsland Light Horse Association hat badge and a pre 1900 British white belt with brass buckle.

The belt I have seen before but never the Light Horse Association hat badge. The gent I brought it off thinks he has a collar badge at home.

Does anybody know much about the badge which is obviously modelled on the 13th LHR badge? Google identifies what appear to be a number of branches of the association but I haven't been able to find anything about the badge.
