I notice to the reverse right side as viewed, on the reverse of the scroll, under the front legs, 2 small notches. I have seen this on lugged, slidered, and a broached example of the version. I take it to be a good sign, though I'm more comfortable with the Lambourne version or the version I call bump on the nose.
