Royal Engineers Bomb Disposal OCA enamel badge
 

I picked this nice little RE BD Old Comrades Association enamel badge up the other day.

1" tall, enamel with a lapel fitting to the rear, does anybody know anything about it?

There seems to be nothing online or in RE books about it, though I do remember one sometimes rarely popped up on ebay a few years back, though not sure they were the same design or wording.

No makers mark, is it a first pattern post-WW2 badge? It has that look.
