My burma geography is not too good. Try googling some other places that start with M?

I am sure, though, that some forum member(s) will know this one.

Hi Drew

The Gurkha Museum lists this badge as

Cap Badge, MYITKYINA BATTALION, 1888-1942

20. This unit was raised in 1888, disbanded in 1890, and re-raised in 1894. It served until 1942.

The cap badge had crossed kukris, crossed left over right, blades edge downwards with the initials MP below the intersection and the initials M and B on either side.

It is listed as in black metal

Regards

Ian
