Gentlemen,

How are you? Please be so kind as to share your opinion on the originality of these two Marines badges and also if the first is correct for WW1 and the second for WW2. Thank you!

I would be happy with both. The first one is likely WWI era but was worn up to 1923. The 2nd one is potentially WWII but was worn between 1923 and 1952ish.

So they had changed to the St Edwards crown, before the Suez business, on the ranker's cap badges then?

I think the RMLI is particularly nice, although broached, you can clearly see where the original lugs once were, if only it could talk.
