2nd/14th Queensland Mounted Infantry - circa 1950s
 

Here's a really interesting photo of members of the 2nd/14th Queensland Mounted Infantry - circa early 1950s.

I found it interesting as it shows some of them wearing a 1930s period hat badge (and also some are wearing a collar badge) of the 2nd Light Horse (or maybe 11th or 14th Light Horse) Regiments (Queensland Mounted Infantry).

I suspect this was worn prior to the adoption of their QC hat badge probably around 1954 or so.
