Officer uniform?? Need help with ID

Any information on shoulder patch would be appreciated
American collector
Shirt looks to be private purchase - has leather button? Holes on shoulder strap for pips - need to get some to complete. Australian stuff is rare here in US - just got these 3 pieces from collectors estate. Took him 40 years to find these 2 uniforms here
Any information on shirt or patch would be appreciated

Hi Jeffweil, again.

Again look at the colour patch on the sleeve, it has no surrounding grey / buff background so it a a WW1 uniform and the fact that its got a buckle at the waist says that its an early WW1 uniform as the buckle was done away with in 1916 / 7 as it was too bulky under the 3 inch wide and quite heavy webbing waist belt., Also some WW1 uniforms have leather buttons and not the blackened brass with a crown and a map of Australia.

That's a real nice item, thanks for showing.

Regards

Phil.
