Unit Sign on Sweetheart Brooch

Hi all. Received this Sweetheart Brooch recently but am having trouble identifying the unit insignia on it. Appears to have a lilac border and centre? Possible a medical unit? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks.

Grey border and centre: 2/12th Australian General Hospital.

That's great thank you. I will add it to my notes. Must be something wrong with my eyes as I thought it was a purple colour.
