Nurse's Silver Rising Sun
2 Attachment(s)
My question is, were these silver rising sun throat badges also worn during the second world war?
I have this one that is inscribed on the back with the date 21/6/45. And I guess the name of the person who wore it. Phil. |

Was this worn in WW1? Cheers Rob |
Yes, it was worn on the collar in front. It was a collar sized badge and was pin back. As I understand it in WW2 they wore both a silver one and/or a nickel version, but in WWI only silver.
