A very nice collection. Unfortunately the NZ badge at the top left hand corner belongs to the NZ Temporary Staff, that was formed during WW2, not WW1. Refer Oldham 7/22.

Hello Phil and Magpie,
I cannot see the headstamps because the bullets are recessed into the brown felt and tied in with army issue thread. As I said before these are not mine I'm just putting them in another frame. The WW1 trio medal ribbons look to be a later addition, as does the white/blue "patch". Phil. |
