BRITISH & COMMONWEALTH MILITARY BADGE FORUM MEMBERS BADGES ?

good afternoon gents,
hey just a thought and i do not know if this has been mooted before but what about having a forum members badge, so members
could if they wanted show they belong to the forum at military shows, fairs
etc etc. and those that do not want to be known just do not need to buy one.
obviously it would need to be designed by someone or you could ask members for ideas. i do not have any idea what the cost of production but i should imagine the cost is not prohibitive. what do other members think.
regards andy.

What about the rubber wrist bands that everyone has nowadays? That way unless you know what to look for it would not be too obvious? and could be a bit more mufti when vying for decent prices?

Members if they chose could wear a name tag type badge. (4x3" size, around neck in a pouch type pocket, was my first thought). It could have the B&CMBF name & logo at the top, your user id and name if you chose. You could also include other info such as other collecting clubs you belong to, or what you collect......

I think it would be difficult to design a badge that would work for most members, the cost to produce & distribute could be a full time job.....

I am not an artist or good at graphic design, but a simple badge like what is attached might work.

Heading as ID

I think Marway Jaime has been reading my thoughts . . ! Bedford is next Sunday and I hope to meet Forum members there, A heading printed with your membership ID would be a great idea.

We must watch out for restrikes:D

by royal appointment, Richard Branson likes them too.

what we need is a limited edition of 100, so they have investment value. :D

There are plenty of ebay sellers who could knock out cheap cast soldered ones in their garage. Usually found in the Coventy, Nuneaton area.

If it were a carnation, I'd say you looked like Capt. Peacock...
