Sarawak Scouts

Can anyone tell me about the formation/unit which wore this, please? Anything on when and where it was formed, where it operated, when it disbanded etc, would be very welcome.
Whilst I have an example of the badge, I have never been able to find any information on it.
Thanks in advance

No, I haven't seen the information you linked before, so many thanks for guiding me to it. I've had a quick look through but need to study it as it is difficult to read when it is printed on such a background. At least I see the badge is shown in the article. It seems that their designation is Border Scouts.
Many thanks for your help.

Thanks for the further info. As they wore the BORDER SCOUTS title above the badge, I have now listed them under that designation. I was told originally that the badge was worn by the Sarawak Scouts, hence my using this designation. I assume that they may have had some connection with Sarawak therefore. If anyone can add any further information, or confirmations, I would be grateful.

Sarawak Border Scouts

In First Division Sarawak in 1964/65 the only Sarawak Border Scouts who worked with the battalions with Companies on the border and Bn HQ at Balai Ringin wore as the only item of uniform a mid-blue denim long-sleeved shirt (like a Royal Navy AWD shirt) bearing on one arm only the shoulder title BORDER SCOUTS and the sign of the Hornbill. Exceptionally good men they were too.
