Unknown Arabic or Middle Eastern Badge

Would appreciate any assistance in identifying the badge shown below please. It's a nice quality badge with (I assume) Middle Eastern or Arabic original. Pin backed. May not be military , who knows ?
Will be up for grabs once identified.

Hi Paul

Appears to be a very polished locally-made version of the UAE Union Defence Force headdress badge - one very similar appears on page 48 of The Military And Police Forces Of The Gulf States Vol. 1: Trucial States And United Arab Emirates, 1951-1980.
