Back mark on a button not seen before Button in gallery and in my album
Button is to S L I
Any information welcome N B this will be on sale part of lot of buttons on eBay

I have seen P BERNEY on buttons, it may be a bad stamping?

Rob thanks for your reply In nearly 50 years of collecting not seen this before Quite a few different makes ,all from the same source Officer in S L I ,Kings African Rifles S C L I , Light Infantry [major] I have most of his run of uniforms and insignia ,some sold All the paper work ,documents are now in the S L I museum
As you said could be a mis strike ,but not sure what it would have been

- The Buffs (East Kent Regiment) 1902-1936 (B25dented)
- Army Educational Corps 1921-1950 (size not recorded)

David,
I was given a box of odds and sods which included some brass buttons.
One is Worcestershire Regt with P BERNEY LONDON mark. It is approx 25mm dia. PM me if it is of interest to you.
