Does anyone know whether these two are authentic, please? They look different than the ones I have had in my collection for many years, and appear to be of modern manufacture. The 51st Bde is 4.5 x 4.5 cm and is fully woven with bound edges and no detail on the head of the swan. The 22nd Arm'd Bde is 7 x 7 cm as opposed to the genuine one I have which is 5.5 x 6.0 cm.
Any comments would be appreciated.

Badger, mine is as yours 5.5cm squared. Strange and random badge to 'copy' . . .

A version of the 22 Armoured Brigade formation sign was worn on the left arm by 'The Royal Ordnance Fusiliers' in an episode of VERA (TV Detective series) called “Sandancers” and first screened in June 2012.

In dpm combat kit the actors also wore the 'King's Own Fusiliers' (KOF) type blackened cap badge and a TRF/DZ Flash Yellow (top right) over Maroon upper right arm

In No2 Dress they wore a red plaited lanyard on the right shoulder with Fusilier grenade collar badges and a Royal Regiment Blue/Red No2 Dress cap.

In the dark blue beret they wore a Hackle with Blue over Yellow feathers and KOF New Metal Cap Badge (also seen worn without hackle). The Stable Belt was Blue, thin Yellow, wide Blue, thin Yellow, Blue with Chrome plated rectangular belt buckle with KOF type cap badge.

The blue over yellow hackle - will that be what tends to be sold as a poor representation of the
Royal Warwickshire Fusiliers hackle or is it a more definite yellow rather than old gold "orange"?

After Private Ollie Barton is blown up by a land-mine, his regiment, known as the Sandancers, returns home from Afghanistan and Vera and Joe are asked to investigate the suspicious death of Sergeant Dev, awarded the Military Cross for saving the rest of his men after Ollie's death. Military policewoman Shep is helpful but Vera finds most of the suspects, resenting civilian interference, literally closing ranks. Then the traumatized colleague who admits to Dev's murder and feels he caused Ollie's death is also found dead. In fact Ollie's fate and its effect on those who were closest to him play a key role in solving the case.

The sellers (manufacturers) of these badges, of which there are lots, say they are for the reenactor.

Thanks for all the replies, from which I gather that these could either be for film and TV use, or for re-enactors. I was also going to put two others on, but as they are of similar manufacture, I think they are also in this category. I will put the scans on at the bottom anyway, for information.
