2nd & 3rd Bn OSD Monmouthshire cap badges

Hello Gentlemen,
I would like to have your opinion on these 2nd & 3rd Bn OSD Monmouthshire cap badges.
The 3rd Bn officer cap badge is slightly different from what I have seen in other threads. The 2nd Bn officer cap badge has no blades but lugs.

I saw both of these up for sale recently. I certainlly wouldn’t have the 2nd Batt’n example, it looks like it’s a cast copy taken from a mould of an original badge.
The 3rd might be ok but I’d need to see it in hand.

Thanks for giving me your opinion. The 2nd Bn Monmouthshire cap badge is painted brown, is it a common feature to some other OSD cap Badges ?
