A recent purchase: a 1945 dated GS cap badged to the Southern Rhodesian Artillery. I am just wondering whether the /collar/cap badge is supposed to be the sign of the 3/17th Rhodesian Field Battery (1/6 Filed Regiment SAA) or the sign of the Souther Rhodesia Light Battery as maintained by Owen 583. How do you Know that it is Southern Rhodesia Artillery?

Yes they would need to provide Provenance. Simply stating that it is SRA does not make it SRA. Some SA dealers are known to inflate an items description if they have a foreign buyer willing to spend good money. I hope that this is not the case here.

So do I: it was definitively NOT a cheap item. I will ask for provenience.
