Great item, thanks for sharing. Interesting to see the Australian flag in the background. One does wonder how well this went down with the Kiwis.

Hahahaha. Australian stars are 6 pointed. These are five pointed like the NZ flag. I am certain the illustrator just didn't add the red. So sorry, a New Zealand flag

God point Nichollg, I agree, not an Australian flag. However without the stars having a red centre it's not the New Zealand flag. Still a nice card though.

The Tucks illustrator has used an early NZ flag, the four white stars were officially used up until Sept 1900 when the New Zealand Government officially adopted the Red stars with their unique white outline.
