1st city of Norwich volunteers shako badge.
 

Hi all, currently on eBay is a 1st city of Norwich volunteers badge, which is , in my opinion 100 per cent right. It has a tiny bit of damage on the strap end and is non voided.
But on the back is a two pined plate, of which one pin is missing and been replaced with solder. I can only think this has been done to mount it onto something other than a shako, maybe a display, maybe a shield/ trophy, or ………..
Any one got any other ideas.
I am unknown to the seller, and I already have an example of this badge, and will not be bidding on it. Thanks Andrew

I have made a mistake, the one on eBay is voided, with a back plate. I can see this now, because the mound that the castle sits on extends to the inside of the garter, whereas on a non voided type it does not. Thanks to a forum member for questioning my original statement, which is now incorrect.
