1916 RWF Soft Cap and Flash

A near unissued 1916 pattern soft cap to the RWF that came with the soldier's 'Flash'. Sadly not named.

Mark , very nice indeed, great find, unlike Jerry I’m not envious at all, no not me I’m not the jealous type not envious at all:(:(;) .Seriously thorough well done I’ve been after a cap for a long time, I’ll keep looking, if you ever want a new home for them let me know:D

The soldier in question was at least a sergeant on the battalion staff. The flash was not worn in SD by other ranks in the companies.

A sergeant, appointed to the staff post as sergeant cook asked if he would qualify for the flash, according to Dr Dunn's history.
