SA Arty and TSC badges on headgear
 

Prompted by the thread related to the appropriate headgear for a specific cap badge I have thought it proper (hopefully!) to post two item of South African headgear provided with the relative cap badges. Both are British produced GS caps, one badged with the flaming grenade of the South African Artillery, the other with a late war bronze cap badge of the Technical Service Corps. There seem to be a larger amount of Commonwealth badged GS caps than British ones, at least still circulating, probably in British use the much abhorred GS cap was quickly replaced by berets.
