Opinion on Para Wings, Please

I'd like opinions on a pair of parachute wings that has been neatly trimmed. I have it displayed with a standard WW2 uncut example. I'm a bit unsure because of the association of white and black thread at the back.
Help is appreciated.

They are unusual in having both white and the less common black bobbin thread but otherwise seem fine.
