Hi,
Can anyone assist me in identifying the following insignia. These have had me perplexed for a while now.
Any assistance appreciated.
Any that do not fit in my field of collecting (Naval), will be offered for sale on here first.
Thanks
Andy

Hi Andy. No 3 in the first set is for a Royal Naval Auxiliary Service (RNXS) Communicator (Radio Operator).

No 1 of Second set is a Royal Navy Shipwright.

No 2 is for a Royal Yacht Rating, though I don't know what the N stands for?

No 3 Is a Merchant Navy P&O Lines Medical Assistant or Nurse?

No 6 is a Royal Artillery Aircraft Spotter.

Hope it helps. If you want to sell the RNXS or P&O badge PM me!

Tony

Hi Tony,

Thank you for the very fast response.

With regards to the RN Shipwright, I could not find this particular rank in May, Carman & Tanner. Did it exist within the Royal Navy or does it belong to one of the Commonwealth Navies, i.e. Canada, Australia or New Zealand?

Have p.m.'d you.

All the best,
Andy

The Royal Artillery Spotter badge is consequently for sale.

Please p.m. with reasonable offer.

Thanks,

Andy

N is for State Registered Nurse (sick berth).
