Hello button collectors,
Can anyone identify these buttons please.
I know the Border Regiment and Berkshire Regiment have dragons but these are slightly different.

These are 1st Punjab Regiment.

Indeed, several of the pre 1922 Punjabi regiments had China service and the dragon carried over to some of the post amalgamation regiments on the cap badges or buttons.

Two of their forerunner battalions were sent to China in 1842 to invest Nankin &
for their services were given permission to use the Golden Dragon.
