I would like any opinions on these two badges. The glider badge is marked "M&B Birm Silver". The eagle is 429. I have only been told that those numbered 330-500 are unissued? Possibly SOE assigned but not tracked? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also a rough idea of their worth.

Cheers, Jeff

Hi Jeff

I can't comment on the glider badge but the Parachute badge is a nice item. For purists the fact that a badge can be attributed to an individual is important. But this is a nice genuine badge even if it is one of those that are considered "unissued". The really desirable ones are those with a jump wreath which can usually be attributed to Operation Market Garden or one of the other late war drops. One here with a price tag of £1,800. I would put yours at £800 - £1000 ish

All the best
