Curious A&S H cap badge

I have found this strange cap badge Argyll & Sutherland vith enamelled moto in dark green and with a brooch on the back..... Somebody Know?? Sorry for my poor english ... |

It is a "sweetheart" badge, worn by civilians for whatever reason. These types were of course never worn in service.

Looking at the photographs, I would have thought that it is large because it is a converted cap badge, originally worn upon the various headdress by members of the regiment.

the same orange one, i do not think mine is a converted badge, it's too easy to bent, not the good metal i think. there is a little mark on the back " england" may be a commercial product for civilians made by an official badge maker regards christophe |
Obviously not a converted cap badge, I think a company called agnew used to do full sized and diffent colour for some reason enamelled badges.
