This is one of the most common British arm badges seen and has been manufactured for well over a hundred years on khaki.

I have seen dozens and dozens of variations in colour, manufacture and size.

All I can say is its not just a standard issue one.

It doesn't look Cdn made. Cdn badges up to unification were embroidered on two layers, the worsted material and a cotton backing. The rectangular square of the imaged badge is not typical of Cdn construction either.
