Just picked this up. Looking for more info on it as I know all CF units attached to this brigade wore the CFE command badge. Judging by the lug and leather fob is it American or European?

Its a plain backing. No stamps

Asking the question in a different way, who wore this? E.g. was it detached personnel, perhaps at NATO HQ?
