Hi all,

I wanted to check with you if this badge was a restrike or a fake ?
The crown is voided and I noted a few differences with the non voided crown one.
Thanks in advance

The voided crown badge is a fake.

There was a post a long time ago saying another sign of a fake is the laurel leaf overlapping a feather on the right wing as well.
Cheers,
Alex

Just to clarify Alex’s post, bird’s right wing i.e. left side of the badge for the viewer.

Thank you very much Luke and Alex.
Got it now I see clear haha.
I tried to find a post on the subject but didn't manage to find the main thread on here.

Not neccesarily, a number of original ones are shown in one of my albums. However in this case it is.

‘‘Not necessarily’’ ???

The member sought an opinion on the example shown.

I did not say all voided crown AAC’s were fake….

Thanks guys. Luc is right to mention it as I thought it was one of the sign of copy.

Hi guys,

Wanted to double check if this one is 100% original ww2.

Cheers

Luc 04-12-23 05:39 PM

Yes it is original but there is no way to be sure it is from ww2.
