Sudan Police photos?

Just a thought..

Has anyone ever seen a photo of Sudan colonial police units wearing the badges that come up - Berber, Kordofan, Khartoum, Blue Nile, Port Suakin etc..

I recently acquired a book ' The Vast Sudan' published in 1924. It has some very good photos and a few of camel corps but none of the police so just wondering if anyone has ever seen a photo of these provincial police units showing the men wearing badges..

I was at a fair yesterday and was looking on a jeweller's stall as they sometimes have military badges amongst their stock. They had a beautiful, hall marked silver badge that had an Ibis standing on rectangle that read, Blue Nile Provence. I wasn't sure if it was military, Police or a souvenir item so I did not buy it. It now appears that it may have been Sudan Police related, though I can find nothing about it. There are similar examples on the internet but they have the Ibis and the words Blue Nile.

Hi
I think it might be a variant of the Blue Nile province badge. you should have picked it up. Do you have a photo by any chance?
