I picked this up over the weekend a very nice quality Unknown possibly German ww1 epaulet the device on the item is a little confusing and have had no luck identifying it.
Any advice welcome

Garde Feldartillerie Regiment fahrende Abteilung schulterstucke fur einer Leutnant, or Guards mobile field artillery unit shoulder board for a 2nd lieutenant. Pre or early WW1.
