A superb piece of Australian military history (in a Pom's opinion!). I hope that it remains untouched. l

What a superb item, wonderful piece of history.
May I have a close up of the Ayrshire Yeomanry cap badge please? And the back as well if possible. Many thanks for sharing this with us. Cheers Chris |

You're a star, thank you.
I'll compare it to my AY's later, see if it's a different pattern or not. I love seeing badges like this, actually worn by serving soldiers in WW1. Many thanks again Chris |
I see slick mick posted his 1AIR assortment on here , but ive never seen another

Nice looking belt, any idea why the buckle is the other way up to the badges.
|
Nice to the see the Leinsters variant with the Welsh regiment plumes instead of the correct ones.

Nice find
Is the Highland Light Infantry brass or tarnished white metal? Rob |
Post 8 because he's Australian in the other side of the world

Hi,
Numeral "3" was possibly for 3rd (Darling Downs) Light Horse or 3rd (Port Curtis) Infantry. Cheers, John |
