These arrived in the mail today. Does any body have any idea as to age or maker ?

I'm presuming they are very early ones. The clips are green plastic.

Was the RGJ collar badge design worn by units other armies?

D of D? Dept of Defence? Duke of xxxx,s?

As far as I'm aware Leigh. The Light division band wore the same collars on No2s (FAD) and pin back would fit but the packaging doesn't tie in . I'd have expected a Firmin bag or a LBB/TKS sticker on a new bag .

I have these two sets in similar if not identical packaging and labels although these are the backing plate and split pin type.

I had a few sets of these many, many, years ago. No idea where they all went came out of an RJG QM stores in Osnabruck, along with a load of RGJ cloth badges as they were not wanted by the new inhabitants. :D

So they are old then. I wonder if the pins came before the lugs.
I'm sure Bess said to me that the original idea was to have pin backed collars rather than lugs.

D of Q stands for denomination of quantity.
