Two buttons fastened by a bar and made into to a sweetheart brooch.

Both have QVC crown, are these buttons fantasy pieces (they do appear to have the shank removed), I thought that the RSF would have been wearing round buttons like rest of the British army?

Genuine regimental buttons but for pipers, hence the white metal and diamond shape.
