Anyone recognise this one? not even sure what the letters are; HFCC? Might even be upside down here :)

Various sources on the internet put Francis William Woodfall, tailor, 16 Waterloo Place, Pall Mall in the early 1840s.

The partnership between Francis William Woodfall and George Woodfall, business of a tailor at No. 16 Waterloo Place, Pall Mall was dissolved 24-3-1866. F.W. will carry on the business
on his separate account (London Gazette)

I could not find any information on the origin / formation of Hayling Island Cricket Club so Rob's guess is still a possibility.

Just another guess as I always find it very difficult to decipher these script letter buttons but I would suggest a hunt button. A few hunts used that curious 'double C' as an 'H'. The initial letter might be a 'T' (again a few T named hunts used a similar style letter).

Given btns' information on the probable date of the button, an early hunt button would make a lot of sense.
