SP Firmin Motto
 

Hi All

I would be interested to see how many of us have this "Firmin" Motto in their collection?

I have an AA that has an earlier struck male die image (see blow). So what I am hoping to see is an SP with the same back image as this one below?

Hi Griff heres what I have to hand on loops rest is packed away

1 = Firmin Motto Copy, looks well made? Whats the mark inside the skull?

2 = LB&BCo Motto, is that plated or solid?

3 = JRGaunt/London. Is that plated Mac or is it hallmarked? Its looks like it has the AA loops?

Will check when I get back in but the gaunt is AA

....I thought it was the AA :) This is the HMd Silver produced at the same time (also HMd in 1962).

... I dont doubt its silver Mac..... but thats a bit of an odd mark? the Birmingham mark stopped in 1974 and the shape of the date letter is not one I am seeing in the Birmingham lists? The Makers mark is a bit blurred as well? Must be an "artisan" piece?

Any one take a stab at the date on the HM

Birmingham 1935 or 1985 maybe? Its a little blurry to make it out in the pictures.
