is this an Australian chaplains badge? or is it British? or are they the same?
what period is it?

To the best of my knowledge this badge was worn by Australian chaplains in the Boer War and maybe also in WW1. I saw it in a War Memorial display.

i was hoping someone would say that. picked it up locally as Australian but im sure the British chaplains wore the same badge.
