Hi Gents,

Posting this again for opinions.

I`ve looked at two piece, crown attached to 3 flames and reinforced single flame attached crowns with long sliders but nothing like this one.

Have I got another Marsh abomination?...............:mad:

I would not dismiss it, but, I would be interested to see a clear photo of it's reverse, it is quite hard to find a really nice old example, they do tend to be regimental lash ups, although, there was a particular example purpose made which turns up on occasion, which had the slider and three tabs to the reverse of the wm coronet for attachment to the uppermost flames of the gm grenade, they had rather thin and brittle wm plumes and harp overlay, but, with a circular hole to the reverse of the grenade, I have often wondered which manufacturer made them, I used to see an odd one in older collections.

I find it a little difficult to say if it is good or not, but I am leaning towards the former as well. It has some nasty corrosion or other substance on it and could do with a good clean! I believe most, if not all, one piece badges are ww2 or later. The two piece were usually the earlier ones.
