SAS wing

Hi all,
is this a post war wing? Or fake? Thanks for the info! Marc |
Hi
Can you post pictures of the rear ,and other close ups. Thanks steve |
So far I can observe positive traits .
Looks like good silk content. Rigging lines into a central strand, may have been more. Directional stitching Good over all colouring. Zig zag trident to canopy. Best wishes Steve |

It's on a BD which has been offered to me. So far I only have this pic but I'll have a look in a few days. Marc |
It depends on how much the seller is asking. If it's expensive I would want good provenance as it does deviate from the classic WW2 pink wing although construction looks similar.
I believe it is better to stick to the known patterns and their relevant colours when collecting SAS wings. |
Looks good but as said above depends on the price.
Can you share other photos of any other insignia on the BD |

Pegasus looks like early Belgian made....but again, the wing isn't the one the Belgians used.
|
.....depends on price !!
I would also look at stitching on patches , any evidence of shadowing underneath ?? If you can see !! Cheers steve |
That's the ugliest Pegasus I've seen!

I didn’t like the wing, but the Peggy confirms terrible fakes. Don’t touch it with a barge pole.
