AAC cap badge with some non-voided lettering

I have just acquired the attached AAC cap badge...

It caught my eye, due to the fact that the space between the A's and centre of the C is non-voided.

I wonder if there are examples out there where all of the lettering is non-voided?

Firstly ,I dont know anything about AAC badges. But it looks to me as if the gap between the A and C has been missed cut. The edge of the C looks like as if it has a piece missing. The badge could actual have been scrapped off because of this.
I do have a Green Jackets Brigade where the gap between the wreath and cross ends havent been cut out. So these incorrect items escape

I believe poor cutting/stamping out is not uncommon for these badges.

Indeed, poor or off-centre stamping is characteristic of the AAC badges with a non-voided crown.

This is similarly the case for other such badges in my existing 'family' of AAC badges, as per attached.

However, any variation tends to be in the degree of 'border' around the bird and lettering. The non-voided areas between lettering are not something I have observed before.

indeed, mine is the same, I note it has the same triangular cutout of the side of the C.
