Queens Rgt "Small Anodised"

Hi found recently a small anodised Queens Rgt badge ???? Didn't know this was a real badge till arrived? Any info on it?? Cheers billy

K&K 1960, sealed 18/8/61 (I only know because I had a few notes immediately to hand).
One of the badges that were reduced in size and are labelled as beret badges although they were intended to supersede the larger pattern on caps too? Alan O will know, I think, he's posted on reduced size badges of the 1950's-60's before. |
Indeed. This badge was not worn by the Regular Bn who wore the Home Counties Brigade badge from 1958 It was worn by the TA and cadets.
As stated it was a reduced size badge worn mostly on berets but also on caps when they were issued. |

Only seen them made by Gaunt anodised, but the colours do vary. There are also anodised collars - as the cap badge, smaller and in facing pairs. These too pop up from time to time.
