Unofficial hat badge - 1st/15th Royal New South Wales Lancers.

These are now currently worn unofficially by some members of the unit.

Made from the same die used for their 1985 centenary beret badge (as you can see by the dates on the back).

Only 200 were made.

I've been told that the large hat badge is worn when soldiers join the regiment but get presented with this smaller badge when they complete their IET training.
