I am trying to identify this patch which came in a mixed WW1/WW2 lot. It has similarities in construction to Italian made Polish insignia but I really have no idea what it is. Any assistance most gratefully received.

Not wishing to mislead anyone this is not may area of collecting so will be for sale if a genuine badge.

I think it's post WWII, and that being bullion it's an officer's badge, the OR's ones being in woven and in plastic versions.
